Demo Exchange
Demo Exchange is Tradiflux's own practice exchange. It needs no exchange account and no API keys: orders fill against live prices, and the money is virtual. It comes in two account types:
- Demo Exchange (Perp) for perpetual futures, with leverage and long or short positions;
- Demo Exchange (Spot) for spot.
Smart orders, price alerts, bots and the AI assistant work on it the same way as on a real exchange. The AI assistant marks its proposals for a demo account with a DEMO badge.
Create a demo account
With no accounts yet, click Start with Demo Exchange (Perp) on the start screen. The account is created in one click and the terminal opens on it.
Otherwise:
- Click the exchange switcher in the header, then + Add.
- In Exchange, choose Demo Exchange (Perp) or Demo Exchange (Spot).
- Keep the suggested name or type your own, and click Add. The dialog shows "Demo Exchange is for practice only. API credentials are ignored — just enter a name and submit."
A demo account counts toward your plan's limit of exchange accounts (4 on Free, 10 on Basic).
Starting balance
Every new demo account, Perp or Spot, starts with:

How orders fill
- Prices come from Bybit's live market.
- A market order fills at once, at the last price.
- A limit order, a take-profit or a stop-loss fills when the last price reaches its level, at the price of that moment.
- An order always fills in full. There is no order book and no slippage.
- The list of coins is shorter than on a real exchange: major pairs such as BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT.
Fees

Market orders, limit orders that fill as soon as they're placed, and take-profits and stop-losses pay the taker fee. A limit order that rests and fills later pays the maker fee. On spot, a buy pays the fee in the coin you buy and a sell pays it in the quote currency; on perp, fees are paid in USDT.
What isn't simulated
- Funding payments. Positions on Demo Exchange (Perp) neither pay nor receive funding.
- Liquidation. A losing position isn't liquidated.
- Order book depth, slippage and partial fills. Large orders fill as easily as small ones.
Keep this in mind before moving the same strategy to a real account: real fills and costs will be worse.
Start over with a fresh balance
There is no reset button. To start again:
- Add a new demo account: it gets the full starting balance.
- Delete the old one: click the pencil next to it in the exchange switcher, then Delete. Tradiflux refuses while the account still has open deals or running bots, so close and stop them first.
